Truce with fate.

Don’t know why there is a pain,
A sense of regret and loneliness here,
When I tried truce with fate.

Fate or destiny,
Something so small and unrecognizable,
Understood by none,
Yet the master of everyone.

Fate takes you to crossroads,
Laughs at you,
Makes fun of you,
Breaks you down,
Tears you down,
Yet make you a take a decision.

The decision,
No matter what you take,
End is annihilation,
Annihilation of dreams,
Suppression of desires,
Crushing of souls.

Yet we hope for the best,
Forgetting the rest.

Trying to swim opposite the stream,
Putting everything at stake,
We hope for the best,
Call it stupidity or optimism,
We wage against the fate,
With a hope to close our eyes in the lap of dreams.
